We told you HERE in May 2023 that the Armstrong Lock and Security (Website) building was being put on the market and it seems that it found a buyer in just a few months.
According to the listing agent, Alex Bisbee, Insite Real Estate, Inc., the property sold for $3.15 million to its new owner.
“It’s a great sale for the Mills 50 corridor. It was a competitive sale with multiple offers coming through and we went with the highest price offered and the coolest concept.”

That end user, according to a recent report by Faiyaz Kara for Orlando Weekly, is none other than Agave Azul, Juan Rios, who is planning a new “live fire restaurant” concept inspired by the indigenous cuisine of the Yucatan Peninsula and the Riviera Maya.
The 0.37-acre property is currently occupied by a 2,900 SF warehouse building and storefront and has 17 parking spaces onsite. The family-owned Armstrong Lock and Security had been in business in Mills since 1929.
A new location for Armstrong was not available at the time of the post.
