The long-awaited local rebirth of popular Italian-ish brand, Fazoli’s (Website), has come.

The Kentucky-based chain, which closed its last Orlando location 15 years ago, has just opened a new restaurant in the former Boston Market building at 4201 E. Colonial Drive [GMap], just east of Fashion Square Mall, and across the street from Orlando Executive Airport.

The menu features Americanized versions of Italian-ish dishes like baked lasagna, baked spaghetti, chicken fettuccine alfredo, pizza, Italian ice, unlimited bread sticks, and those cookies that look like they were sculpted by robots before being plopped into little plastic envelope bags.

Fazoli’s hosted a special media preview on Tuesday, September 5, and will host a grand opening all day Wednesday, September 5. The store hours will be 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. on weekdays and will be open to 11 p.m. on weekends.
