Everyone’s favorite movie monster and mythical blood drinker is apparently the reason for the season in 2023, with a fun lineup of vampire-themed events and programming coming our way this fall.
So we rounded some of the best ones up for you so you don’t miss a thing.
DRACULA THE MUSICAL
Opera Del Sol (Website) will be presenting a production of Frank Wildhorn’s Dracula the Musical on select evenings between Friday, October 20, and Sunday, October 29. Wildhorn is best known as the composer of hit Broadway shows like Wonderland, The Civil War, and Jekyll and Hyde. Opera Del Sol’s production will take place at CityArts Gallery featuring a limited seating six-performance run.

NOSFERATU
The Renaissance Theater (Website) in Ivanhoe Village is bringing back its hit immersive haunted house/immersive theater experience, Nosferatu, on September 15 for its third year. The high-concept immersive vampire show was the fledgling theater company’s first-ever production in their new home near Advent Health and it’s been revamped for 2023. Every production starts with a production that has the audience moving from room to room before the building turns into an after-hours club night called “VBar.”

PHATASMAGORIA XIV – “TALES OF THE UNDEAD”
The steampunk-flavored antics of hit Victorian Horror Troupe, Phantasmagoria (Website), will be touring an undead festival of terrors to five different counties this fall, with an Orlando performance of its new Tales of the Undead scheduled for October 26-28 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. They’ll be performing works from folklore, Dickens, H.G. Wells, and Edgar Allan Poe through dance, puppetry, projections, and more. Yes, there will be vampires.

5TH ANNUAL VAMPIRE BALL
Cocktails and Screams (Website), the popular downtown year-round Halloween-themed bar on Church Street, will host its fifth annual Vampire Ball on Friday, October 7. Attendees are encouraged (heavily) to wear their best gowns and retractable fangs for the event which will feature themed cocktails and live performances.

LES VIXENS BURLESQUE – HORROR MOVIE HOTTIES
The sexy ladies of Les Vixens Burlesque will be performing at Southern Nights Orlando as some of your favorite horror movie hellions. Including some sexy vampires. Catch them on Wednesday, September 20. Cocktails start at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m.
