The Urban Think Foundation (Website) is back with its annual benefit concert to raise funds for its award-winning children’s literacy program, Page 15.
This year’s Mixtape: MTV 80s Edition promises lots of outrageous 80s fashion, a vibrant atmosphere, and live renditions of the most beloved songs that graced the screens of early MTV. Headlining the 10th annual benefit concert is the high-energy 80s cover band, the M-80s. Special guest DJ Smilin’ Dan will be spinning classic 80s tunes before and after the show.
MIXTAPE: MTV 80s Edition will take place on Friday, October 13 at Cheyenne Saloon on Church Street and will open at 7:30 p.m. An optional limited VIP Experience with food and craft cocktails will begin at 6 p.m. General admission tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. Limited VIP Experience tickets are $125 in advance.
