Timucua Arts Foundation (Website) will host the iconic Bobby Callender for a 55th Anniversary performance of his 1968 masterpiece album, “Rainbow,” on Friday, September 22.

Callender is known for his prog-rock fusion of Eastern philosophy, jazz, pop, and R&B, as well as for being a gifted poet and lyricist. He will take the stage at Timucua backed by a ten-piece psychedelic rock ensemble featuring sitar and tabla instruments.

Though obscure at the time of its release, “Rainbow,” has become a cult classic through the year in recognition of its complex avant-garde sonic soundscape.

Tickets start at $22 for students and are available HERE for purchase.
