A new bakery concept is being prepped for the former home of King Crab Shack on Colonial Drive.

According to a report by Faiyaz Kara for Orlando Weekly, the new concept is called Bakery 1908 and it will feature a “rotating selection of dim sum items, coffee, and boba.” And dumplings. The name was inspired by a partner on the project who runs a Taiwanese bakery that has been in business since 1908.

Bakery 1908 is owned by John Zhao and it’s expected to open by the end of October

Bakery 1908 is located at 2021 E. Colonial Drive [GMap].

  1. went there over the weekend, grabbed my own bakeries went to
    cashier to paid. after left the store noticed they added tips on
    the receipt without me knowing. Won’t be doing back that’s for sure.
