The team at Swine and Sons (Instagram) has just taken over the kitchen at Milkhouse Social (Instagram | Website) at 203 N. Bumby Avenue [GMap].
Lexi Gawlak moved her popular Winter Park business into the kitchen at Foxtail Farmhouse back in 2022, knocked it out of the park, and was then invited to lead the kitchen at Foxtail’s sister space in the Milk District, the Milkhouse, making it Swine and Son’s second official location.
Swine and Sons started officially serving at the new location this past Saturday and they will be hosting a special Halloween-themed drag bingo event to launch brunch service on Sunday, October 22.
Tickets for the event, hosted by Bungalower’s Brendan O’Connor, albeit as his alter ego Brenda from Bithlo, are now available to the public. Bungalower Buddy members were able to secure early access to tickets late last week.
Tickets are $10 and secure you a reservation, a free drink, and one bingo card. All brunch items are a la carte and can be ordered through your server. Tables of six and four must be reserved as a whole, but communal seating is available for smaller parties at the bar and at two large tables where you can pretend you’re a Viking or a Hobbit. Like our weekly event at Tactical Brewing, Boos and Bingo will include great prizes, games, and some unexpected surprises. Costumes are welcome but not required.
This is a 21+ event. No minors allowed. Miners, however, are encouraged to attend.
