Last week a driver managed to crash their car into an iconic fountain on the lakefront in Baldwin Park.
The sculpture at the center of the fountain, located atop a small roundabout, was completely destroyed by the collision, and as you can see in the image above, the vehicle also damaged the base of the fountain as well.
A request for the police report of the incident had gone unanswered at the time of this post and we have no information on the status of the driver or possible passengers.
