The City of Orlando has just granted a new micromobility company permission to launch services in The City Beautiful today.

Veo (Website) is the latest company to be allowed to operate in Orlando and started deploying its 400-unit teal and black fleet across the city this week. However, these ones are meant to be sat on.

The Veo Cosmo features large tires, a throttle, and a lower center of gravity that may make it easier for beginners to handle. They also don’t require pedaling.

“We are excited to partner with Veo as they introduce a new fleet of seated scooters to our city’s shared mobility program. These new scooters further our city’s goal to offer convenient and inclusive transportation options for residents and visitors while ensuring downtown Orlando remains vibrant, economically-viable and accessible for everyone. We look forward to this partnership and the positive impact it will have on our community.”

– JON DYER, MAYOR, CITY OF ORLANDO

Veo scooters cost $1 to unlock and then $0.39 per minute afterward. Riders can get $10 in free credit with the launch code “TRYVEO23” through November 30. They also have a monthly subscription package for $7.99 a month with discounted rides.
