According to the Orange County Supervisor of Elections website, 16.22% of registered voters turned out for this past Tuesday’s elections in Orange County. That translates to 219,767 registered voters.

The results of those votes saw victories for all incumbents, including Mayor John Dyer, and sitting commissioners Patty Sheehan and Bakari Burns. This is the sixth and final term for Mayor Dyer, as he has spoken openly that he will not run for re-election in four years.

Sheehan has been in office since 2000 and is Orlando’s longest-sitting commissioner, whereas Commissioner Burns will be serving his second term.
