Hand-pulled noodle truck, Red Panda Noodle (Instagram), has just announced that they will be shacking up with Cupid’s Hot Dogs in north Orlando.
The popular food truck, led by Orlando Meats alums Seth Parker and Eliot Hilis, celebrated its one-year anniversary this past August and is a regular attendee of some of the best food truck roundups around town, including Orlando Parking Lot Party and Tasty Tuesdays in the Milk District.
“We hope to open the building as a robust concept in the near future but will be commencing operations immediately as a commissary space. We are excited and grateful for the opportunity Cupid’s has given us.”
– ELIOT HILIS, CHEF/CO-OWNER, RED PANDA NOODLE
In the months to come, Hilis says the plan is to open a drive-thru window and a 50-seat dining room, alongside the California-based Cupid’s Hot Dogs.
The duo will host a “housewarming party” at 6 p.m. December 4 where they will feature a ramen menu in honor of the season and, presumably, colder weather.
“We cannot thank Orlando enough for sharing in our successes as we have grown from an idea, to a tent, a trailer and now an honest to gosh building. Every moment we are able to serve we fall deeper and deeper in love with the city and it’s people.”
– ELIOT HILIS, CHEF/CO-OWNER, RED PANDA NOODLE
Cupid’s Hot Dogs opened at 1515 Lee Road [GMap] in March 2022, and they are known for their all-beef Vienna hotdogs, which they’ve been serving since 1946.
