Orlando’s longest-running artist collective, McRae Art Studios (Facebook | Website), is poised to host a rare open house event this weekend on December 1 and 2.
The collective of 22 independent artists was founded in 1987 and shares a super-cool Parramore warehouse located at 1000 Arlington Street [GMap] that is not open to the public. These rare events allow collectors and unique gift hunters the opportunity to purchase pieces directly from these artists outside of their regular galleries and exhibitions.
The open house will commence 6-9 p.m. both Friday and Saturday and is free to attend. Refreshments will be available to purchase by donation and a raffle featuring 4×4-inch paintings by member artists will also take place.
