Grandma Party Bazaar (Facebook | Instagram) is back at Stardust Video and Coffee in Audubon Park at 1842 Winter Park Road [GMap] this Sunday, December 10.
This is the 21st Grandma Party to take place through the years, though in the early years, it would happen twice per annum. As such, this year’s event has a “21st Birthday” theme and the organizers are collaborating with Audubon Park neighbors, Redlight Redlight, on a limited-run hard seltzer. It’s called “Granny Panties.”
If you wear visible granny panties you’ll get a free raffle ticket.
The annual event will take over the Stardust parking lot from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will feature the best of the best local makers, creators, and oddities, curated by the event organizers – some of whom you can see below by scrolling down.
This year’s playlist will be provided by DJ Ben Down, DJ Disco Volante, Soul Cheq, Earth Fault, Wasting May, and Someday River. The event also features an auction, pop-up flash tatoos by GERG, roving weirdness, and an overall sense of magic and possibility in the air.
Two other markets will be taking place in Audubon Park on the same day; the Pop Swap Holiday Market (Instagram) in the Park Ave CDs/The Lovely parking lot, and Mystic Moon Markets (Instagram) at Lobos Coffee Roasters. Bungalower Media will be at the latter, selling our new “Bungalower Blend” coffee just in time for the holidays.
Parking is always tough so biking and rideshare are heavily recommended.
