According to the national cannabis chain Verilife (Website), The City Beautiful has the highest weed consumption rates in the entire state of Florida.
The report shares that Orlandoans consume an estimated 77.2 metric tons of weed every year. That’s about 170,196.9 pounds. Which translates to about 7.6 grams of weed each month per Orlando resident.
Orlando comes in at 9th place in the entire country, behind New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco.
The State of Florida is currently considering adding 22 new licenses for medical marijuana operators over the next six months.
