IT WASN'T THIS DRAMATIC THOUGH

The Orlando Solar Bears were forced to postpone a Sunday night game citing
“unforeseen and unsafe conditions,” as a result of this weekend’s storm.

The passing cold front this weekend dumped roughly 2.33 inches of rain over three days according to measurements taken at Orlando International Airport.

According to Orlando Solar Bears’ social media accounts, the storm knocked out power at the arena overnight on Saturday, December 16. Though crews tried to solve the problem throughout the day, and the game was originally postponed until 7 p.m. versus its original 6 p.m. start time, the team eventually deemed ice conditions were not safe and made the announcement

Ticketholders were apparently notified about how to get free tickets to an upcoming game as a result of the power outage.
