United Arts of Central Florida (Website) announced their list of 44 Central Florida nonprofit cultural institutions that will be receiving over $2.3 million in Operating Support Grants for 2024.

According to a press release issued by United Arts earlier today, in 2023 the United Arts Operating Support grants helped 42 arts organizations mount 3,278 exhibitions and productions with 23,255 opportunities to participate, provided arts access and arts education to 954,202 school-aged youth, offered 1,832,621 free tickets, and attracted 2,712,179 guests. The grants supported 380 full-time and 318 part-time staff positions, as well as engaged 6,775 artists.

The 2024 Operating Support Grants were awarded to the following organizations:

  • Art and History Museums – Maitland – $61,000
  • ArtReach Orlando – $10,000
  • The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park – $80,000
  • Bay Street Players – $10,000
  • Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts – $10,000
  • Central Florida Ballet – $39,200
  • Central Florida Community Arts – $60,000
  • Central Florida Vocal Arts – $10,000
  • Chance 2 Dance – $10,000
  • WMFE – Community Communications – $10,000
  • Crealde School of Art – $68,000
  • Creative City Project – $25,000
  • Downtown Arts District – $32,400
  • Emotions Dance – $10,000
  • Enzian Theater – $85,000
  • The Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra – $35,500
  • Fusion Fest – $10,000
  • Garden Theatre – $45,000
  • Global Peace Film Festival $10,000

Applications for 2025 Operating Support grants will be accepted in the summer of 2024.
