A Japanese shaved-ice dessert concept has opened in a tiny shack behind Kaya Inspired Filipino Cuisine in Lake Eola Heights, at 620 N. Thornton Avenue [GMap].
Koko Kakigori (Instagram | Website) specializes in kakigori which is shaved ice topped with ice cream, yogurt, and fruit syrups like tangerine, matcha, and vegan ube coconut. The menu is even served in custom, hand-made ceramic bowls created by the owners, complimenting the artistic presentations of the desserts themselves.
