Orlando Magic will be hosting a special postgame ceremony on Tuesday, February 13, to retire former player Shaquille O’Neal’s jersey.

The ceremony will kick off the Magic’s 35th season, with a game against Oklahoma City Thunder at the newly-named Kia Center.

O’Neal played for Orlando Magic for the first four years of his professional career after being named the first overall pick for the 1992 NBA Draft. He was named NBA All-Star four times.

O’Neal will be the first Orlando Magic player to have their jersey retired and is the fourth player in NBA history to have his number retired by three or more different franchises.
