The City of Orlando will host the best runners in the country for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon next month, for a chance to join Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The trials are scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 3, at 10 a.m. with a course running through downtown Orlando. The course consists of a 2.2-mile loop and three 8-mile loops, consisting of:

  • A start line on Rosalind Avenue near Amelia Street, 
  • Finish line on Rosalind Avenue near Washington Street at Lake Eola,  
  • Seneff Arts Plaza at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts,  
  • and City Hall Plaza on Orange Avenue.  

Residents can click HERE for updated information on any upcoming road closures that will be put in place to facilitate the event, between the hours of 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. There is also a hotline you can call at 407-385-1511.

This is the first time a Florida city has been awarded the opportunity to host the event, and the race will be televised on NBC and Peacock.
