Just last week we told you that Farm and Haus (Instagram Website) would be stepping away from its longtime stall at East End Market to focus on its brick-and-mortar restaurant in Winter Park. At the time, a new occupant for the food hall spot had yet to be revealed but we learned something fun over the weekend.

Matt Hinckley of Hinckley’s Fancy Meats (Instagram | Website) took to social media this weekend to share that he would be opening a new 6-month pop-up concept called Boxer and Clover (Instagram) in the stall to test the waters and see if he’d like to keep it going as something more permanent – either at East End or someplace larger. The concept will also be popping up at locations around town.

The concept is named after the horses from George Orwell’s much-studied Animal Farm, and will feature a menu of Southern-inspired barbecue like ribs, collards, chicken thigh, and briskets.

Boxer and Clover is expected to open sometime in March, following the opening of his new College Park restaurant, Mid-Drive Dive (Instagram | Website), sometime in mid-February.
