Apopka’s Michael Halliday has just signed a new two-year contract with Orlando City SC with options for 2026 and 2027, according to the Club late yesterday afternoon.

The 23-year-old defender has made 17 starts in 36 games since signing in 2020 and played for the United States U-20 Championship and in the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He is the second player in Orlando City history to complete the Club’s development pathway after joining the Orlando City Academy in 2016, its U-13 side, all the way to the Club’s U-18/19 team.

Orlando City Soccer (Website) will open its upcoming 2024 season on Saturday, February 24, against CF Montreal at Exploria Stadium. Click HERE for the full schedule.
