Miami-based World Famous House of Mac (Facebook | Website) has closed its Orlando restaurant location, effective immediately.
The original restaurant in Miami was founded by Pitbull’s former manager, Derrick Turton, and is known as a regular haunt for big-ticket celebs like Serena Williams, Rihanna, ASAP Rocky, and of course, Pit Bull. The Orlando location opened in March 2022 in a former Pizza Hut at 2435 S. Orange Avenue [GMap], to lots of fanfare and was known for its over-the-top macaroni and cheese dishes and chicken wings.
The announcement of the closure was made on Tuesday, January 23.
