The City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board will be hosting a bus tour of Parramore, a historic Black neighborhood, in recognition of Black History Month this February, highlighting the “positive contributions, culture, and heritage of our African American residents.”

The tour is scheduled for 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, and will be led by District 5 City Commissioner Regina Hill. The bus will depart from the Wells’Built Museum of African American History and Culture at 511 W. South Street [GMap] with free parking available at Shiloh Baptist Church of Orlando.

Following the tour, which is estimated to run roughly one-and-a-half hours, guests will be given complimentary admission to the museum as well.
