The team at Charlie’s Bakery and Creamery (Facebook | Website) in Curry Ford West has just been named as the Grand Prize Winner of the 2024 Mastercard Foodies and Fairways competition.

The competition, which was open to Mastercard cardholders who operate small food service businesses within 50 miles of Orlando, awards business owners on the overall “viability and strength of business; the level of impact the business is having on its customers and employees; and its potential for growth.”
The Grand Prize comes with a package from MasterCard that includes a concession space at the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational this March where they can sell their food to attendees, a $10,000 grant, enhanced access to Mastercard small business tools, a virtual mentorship session with a Mastercard small business expert, and twenty passes for the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Hage and her husband purchased the bakery in 2022 from its previous owners who had run it for 50 years, and added a creamery. Bungalower Buddy members can unlock a free cookie with the purchase of any ice cream at Charlie’s Bakery and Creamery when they show their special member keychain.
