Orlando City Soccer Club unveiled its new Legacy Kit for the 2024-2 season, and it features a purple and red design that honors the club’s history, from its early days as a member of the USL Pro league, just in time for its 10th season in Major League Soccer.
The kit, revealed at a special event tonight in Church Street’s Cheyenne Saloon, is now available for purchase HERE in the official MLS online store or in-person at The Den at the Inter&Co Stadium during regular business hours.
“We are so proud to introduce a kit that we know our fans will love, one that pays tribute to
everyone that has supported and led us to reach our 10th season in MLS. The Legacy Kit is
designed to recognize just that – the path that has led us here today and the legacy of our early days as a professional soccer franchise in the City Beautiful,” said Orlando City Chief Marketing Officer Pedro Araujo. “This kit is a thank you to the players, supporters, staff, partners and community members for which Orlando City would not exist without. We hope our fans enjoy and appreciate the details found throughout this jersey, and we can’t wait to continue celebrating our 10th season in MLS with many more surprises throughout the year.”
The primary color of the jersey is a soft lavender and the three lions crest, which served as the team’s logo from 2011 to 2014 has been updated with a metallic cold for a fresh new look. The inside of the collar reads “Honor Thy History” as part of the team’s 10-year anniversary being celebrated this year, which is also honored with a special “x” jock tag on the bottom of the kit.
Orlando City will wear the new Legacy Kit in front of its home supporters for the first time on March 9 at the newly-named Inter&Co Stadium. Tickets for the game are available HERE.
