Orlando Fringe (Facebook | Website) has just announced the dates for its 33rd annual Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival in Loch Haven Park.

The 14-day cultural festival will run from May 13-27 and feature over 1,000 ticketed performances in a wide array of genres from dance and spoken word to comedy and musicals. The fest also includes free programming like an outdoor beer garden and music festival, Visual Fringe, and Kids Fringe for the wee ones .

The Festival is held in multiple venues around Loch Haven Park, including Lowndes Shakespeare Center, Orlando Family Stage, and the Orlando Museum of Art. BYOVs or “Bring Your Own Venues this year include Renaissance Theatre Company, The Starlite Room at Savoy, CityArts, and The Dust in downtown Orlando.

Key dates for the 2024 fest include:

  • April 15 – Local Artist Teaser Show at the Orange Venue at Orlando Shakes
  • April 15 – Tickets go on sale for the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival
  • May 14 – Ribbon cutting, official festival opening, and National/International Artist Teaser Show at the Peach Venue at Orlando Family Stage
  • May 15-27 – Fringe Festival
  • May 27 – Patrons Pick Day featuring top-selling shows in each venue and the Closing Ceremonies
