A new vintage shop has opened in The Milk District at 2615 E. South Street [GMap], next to Market on South.
Funk’s Vintage (Instagram | Facebook) offers a variety of vintage goods in its large showroom, sorted in sections based on price, ranging from $1 to beyond. But the back room is something particularly different, with heaps of clothes in one giant pile at the center of the space. Shoppers can grab as much or as little as they like and then will be charged $7 per pound when they check out.
This past weekend they offered a deal where you could get one pound of clothing for free, with the purchase of any item from the front store.
Funk’s Vintage is open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
