The Orlando Museum of Art (Instagram | Website) has just announced the promotion of Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon to the position of Chief Curator.

Claeysen-Glaeyzon has been with the museum since January 2018, serving in various roles, including Associate Curator, Curator, and most recently, Interim Head of the Collections and Exhibitions Department.

Originally from France and raised in Niger, Africa, she holds an MA in Visual Culture and a BA with Honors in Culture, Media, and Communications from Lancaster University, UK, as well as a DEUG in Language Sciences and Cultural Mediation from Université Paul Cézanne, Aix-Marseille III, in France. 

Claeysen-Gleyzon has previously served in key positions such as Creative Project Manager and Exhibitions Officer for URBIS in the UK, as Gallery Director of the Third Line Gallery in Doha, Qatar, and as an independent art consultant in Beirut, Lebanon. Before joining Orlando Museum of Art, she worked as Gallery Director for Jai Gallery and volunteered as an associate curator for Snap! Orlando.
