The City of Winter Park has just appointed its new mayor, who also happens to be the first woman to serve in the office.
Sheila De Ciccio (Website), who previously served as a city commissioner starting in 2020, succeeded to win over 70 percent of the vote, with her sole opponent, Michael Cameron, taking just home 29 percent.
Two candidates for Seat 2 will continue into a run-off on April 16, with their district still being up for grabs.
