DogFest 2024 is scheduled to take place in downtown Winter Park on April 20, this year, inviting locals to join in the fun.
The event will feature a variety of dog-centric vendors and activities along Park Avenue and in Winter Park’s Central Park. That last bit should be of particular interest, as Central Park is generally off-limit to dogs and pets. This is one of just two events each year that allow dogs to frolic in the park.
The event will also feature a biergarten, silent auctions, and “lots of puppies,” according to an event spokesperson. It will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the West Meadow.
Funds raised for the event will go to support the mission of Canine Companions, which works to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by providing them with expertly trained service dogs free of charge.
