WPRK 91.5 FM will screen the Florida premiere of a documentary that’s all about the importance of college radio stations, on Thursday, April 11.

“35,000 Watts: The Story of College Radio” shares takes on the role of college radio in shaping music history and culture, as told by the students, alumni, and artists that made it all happen. It was directed by Michael Millard, a broadcasting veteran and admitted lover of college radio.

The screening will take place at 7 p.m. in the Bush Auditorium at Rollins College. Students, employees, and station volunteers can attend for free, otherwise tickets are available HERE for $5 if paid in advance or $7 at the door.
