The SoDo Main Street District (Website) will host its popular annual SoDo After Dark event on Saturday, April 20 at 6 p.m. at RockPit Brewing.
This year’s event will be headlined by Central Florida’s favorite soul/garage band, The Sh-Booms, who have shared the stage with names like The Roots, and the B-52s, and have played Austin City Limits, Okeechobee, and Gasparilla.
This year’s event will raise funds for SoDo’s new art initiatives and will also feature food, beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, and lots of shopping opportunities with local vendors and makers.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring more art and creativity to our community. As the South Orange Avenue infrastructure improvements begin to near completion, we will shift our efforts to making our space more inviting and to give our community a greater sense of place,” said Misty Heath, Executive Director of SoDo District. “We want people to be inspired by their environment and make our public art initiatives a reflection of the truly unique and inspiring community that surrounds us.”
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, which also includes a free drink. This event is 18+ and pet-friendly.
