After almost two years of hosting weekly drag bingo nights, Bungalower Media’s in-house drag clown, Brenda from Bithlo, will be taking a well-deserved summer break.
Bungalower first launched drag bingo at Tactical Brewing back in May 2022, albeit with a different host in the suspiciously large form of Taffy Pinkerbox, a la Doug Bowser. Bowser passed away that summer and sometime co-host/media sponsor, Brenda from Bithlo stepped in to host for the remaining three months agreed upon with Tactical Brewing. Flash forward to 2024 and bingo is still going strong every Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The event is 21+ (adults only) and bingo is free to play. Bungalower Buddy members get an extra bingo card and a discount on their tab when they show their keychains.
The last scheduled Bungalower Bingo at Tactical will fall on Tuesday, April 9, after which, the next time you’ll spot Brenda in Baldwin Park will be at the annual Belly Flop Contest with Cholo Dogs this May.
Tactical Brewing is currently looking for a new bingo or trivia host to take over the Tuesday night slot. We ask that only suspiciously large women with loud laughs apply. The safe word is “pineapple.”
