Michelin Guide added four new starred venues to its growing list of recognized Orlando restaurants last week, including Camille, Natsu, Papa Llama, and Victoria and Albert’s.
“With 7 starred, 11 Bib Gourmand and 30 Recommended Restaurants in the 2024 MICHELIN Guide, Orlando continues to drive culinary innovation forward,” said Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “This is a true testament to the growth and vibrancy of Orlando’s culinary scene, fueled by the dedication of our talented chefs, restaurateurs, and committed service staff. Together, we’ve made Orlando a vibrant hub for international cuisine, attracting food enthusiasts and enhancing the local dining experience.”
Soseki Modern Omakase, Capa Steakhouse and Bar, and Kadence all retained their pre-awarded one-stars as well. Additional 2024 honors include an Exceptional Cocktails Award for Justin Levaughn of Otto’s High Dive, a Michelin Service Award to Israel Perez, the maitre d’hotel and sommelier of Victoria and Albert’s, and a Michelin Green Star for Michelin-recommended Kaya, for recognition of exceptional sustainable dining without sacrificing flavor.
Visit Orlando announced that it would be leveraging the Michelin Guide as part of a new culinary marketing campaign in partnership with Tripadvisor, that would create three new Epicurean Trips for the area, including one based on Netflix’s “Somebody Feed Phil,” a guide of Orlando’s best restaurants, and another that features a series of fun food challenges.
