The City of Winter Park’s Community Redevelopment Agency has just launched its 2024 Summer Youth Enrichment Program that places students in paid internships with local, non-profit organizations to gain hands-on work experience while giving back to the community.

This program is offered to high school-aged students who live within the Community Redevelopment Agency district. Access the CRA Boundary map to check your address for eligibility.

Students interested in participating must meet the following criteria:

  • Reside within the boundaries of the CRA district.
  • Be a high school student between the ages of 14-18.
  • Have written approval from a parent or guardian.

Interns work an eight-week period and are paid a maximum of 20 hours per week, with duties changing depending on the participating organization.

Applications are available in the Winter Park Community Center located at 721 W. New England Avenue. All required paperwork must be submitted to the Winter Park Community Center by Friday, April 26, at 5 p.m.
