The Orlando Police Department Special Victims Unit has issued a call for public assistance in identifying a suspect who is reported to have exposed themselves to a minor.

According to a statement from OPD on Friday, May 3, between 8:40 a.m. and 9 a.m., the victim was walking to school near Summerlin Avenue and Washington Street, in the heart of Thornton Park, when an unknown white male with brown hair, about 6-feet tall, in a blue sedan, approached them. He was unclothed and exposing himself while staying in his car. The victim walked away, and the man followed her in his vehicle until she ran away.

The incident was reported to police by the victim’s mother. Patrol officers are canvassing the area and detectives are investigating and reviewing surveillance cameras from businesses and residents in the area.

OPD asks that if you locate the vehicle or the suspect to call the police immediately.
