We told you HERE in June 2023 that a new German concept was being built out in the former home of  Neon Beach at 131 N. Orange Avenue, Suite 104 [GMap] in downtown Orlando, and it seems that they’re finally opening on May 16.

Schmankerl Stub’n (Facebook Instagram), described as a “German Scratch Kitchen,” is related to Dollins Food Hall ghost kitchen, Dan’s Bavarian Takeout (Facebook). According to their website, the name means “Room of Delicacies” in German, and the concept will be a casual fine dining experience.

The menu, which you can see below on their Instagram, features a number of German favorites like wiener schnitzel, beef consomme, apple strudel, and more.

Once open, the hours will be 5-10 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday and 5 p.m.-11 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, and they are taking reservations.
