PechaKucha Night is an entertainment event held several times a year in downtown Orlando. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for “chitchat,” PechaKucha rests on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It’s a format that makes the presentations concise and keeps things moving at a rapid pace. Speakers present their PechaKuchas on any subject, from the personal to the public.

APGD’s 4th Annual Eat Local Sip Local Stroll will feature locally sourced fruits and veggies, sustainably produced Florida cheese and meats, in addition to Florida craft beer, boutique wine and some Florida distilled spirits to sample. All inclusive, with multiple stops and an educational map to guide your way, this stroll shouldn’t be missed. The first 50 tickets will be just $25 each, with prices going to $30-$35 each afterwards. In these monthly meetups, participants will hone their drawing abilities and fill a sketchbook with images of Central Florida. The completed sketchbooks will be collected at the Museum on June 1, and then sent to the Brooklyn Art Library to be added to a growing collection of international sketchbooks. Your sketchbook will be digitized to ensure you can access it online after it is added to the Library’s collection.
This class is designed for beginners to learn professional level techniques used in small mammal taxidermy.
The City of Winter Park and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee are proud to present the 40th Annual Winter Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This is the only St. Patrick’s Day Parade in central Florida, so wear some green and gather your family and friends to enjoy the annual Irish festivities. T
