The Credo Conduit co-working space in the Florida Hospital that we first wrote about HERE, is shutting down on February 1.
The prototype effort was a collaborative project between Downtown Credo and the Florida Hospital Innovation Lab and meant to be a first step towards opening a more permanent space in the old orange packing warehouse behind the former home of Theatre Downtown.
The 6,000 SF space, located above the Florida Hospital Downtown Credo coffee shop, was home to a select group of local do-gooder start-up businesses, including Bungalower, Yelp Orlando, Strong Films, Blossom Creative, and the Dinner Party Project, among others. The idea behind the space was to create a community of “cross-discipline collaboration.”
The Florida Hospital has since rescinded their interest in creating a collaborative space and instead is reported to be focusing on creating a co-working space for health industry startups and an overflow special event space for the Innovation Lab.
Downtown Credo is currently looking for a new home for their coworking concept.
Editor’s Note: Don’t worry, we’re not homeless, we also work out of Canvs in the Church Street Exchange building.

That stinks! That was a great space.
Is there a list somewhere on Bungalower with all the open, active co-working spaces in Orlando?
