It’s our two year anniversary and we want to celebrate with YOU! We’ll be serving plates of smoked prime rib with duck fat salsa verde & barbecue gastrique, tarragon potatoes, and a salad of Florida peaches with mizuna. $25 per plate. Includes a piece of birthday cake! Cask & Larder beer pints will be half price ($3), and we’re taking $2 off canned and bottled beers, and $1 off wines by the glass.
March Critical Blast!
Orlandos largest bicycle ride rolls this Friday! Meet at the park around 530, ride leaves at 615!!! We hope to see all of all of you out riding and enjoying this wonderful community event! All bikes are welcome, all riders are welcome, please bring lights, wear a helmet… it’s not required but way sexier than a head injury!
TED Ethology: Primate Visions of the Human Mind
TED Ethology: Primate Visions of the Human Mind Run Time: 00:49:35 Q&A with Coco Fusco: 30 minutes Internationally acclaimed artist Coco Fusco will present a screening of her video, TED Ethology: Primate Visions of the Human Mind, at the Orlando Museum of Art, Friday March 31, 2017 at 6pm. Fusco will introduce the video and conduct a question and answer session after the screening.

By William Shakespeare Orlando Shakespeare Theater – Goldman Theater Playing March 29 – April 30, 2017 William Shakespeare’s “Antony and Cleopatra” tells the tragic romance of Marc Antony and Cleopatra. The victors of Rome’s civil war have divided the Empire amongst themselves and Marc Antony has traveled to exotic Egypt to rule his corner of the globe. There he encounters Egypt’s mysterious monarch, the irresistibly entrancing Cleopatra.
Kaleidoscope’s Fifth Friday -Moon Train- Open Gallery Art Event
Come enjoy an evening with artists at Kaleidoscope Venue For The Arts in Longwood. This is an Open Gallery event, Bring Art, See Art, Buy Art! We will be preparing for the art show to open the following day, so artists will be here in gallery hanging art, artists are welcome to bring their own art to show for the evening. Vintage Garden Show
It’s that time again our favorite Spring Specialty Show the Sixth Annual “Vintage Garden Show” April 1 & 2 9AM – 5PM. This show is bursting with spring blooms, and displays to inspire you for your home indoors and out. Shop vendors from all over the Southeast, enjoy a complimentary Kid’s Craft Tent, pet portraits by Leash, Inc., and tasty plates of food while listening to toe-tapping music. Take in the abundant variety of foliage, antiques, and vintage ware.
Tiny Home Festival

Mills 50 Madcap
The second annual Mills 50 Madcap takes place on Saturday, April 1! Madcap is sort of like a scavenger hunt – sort of like a pub crawl – but mostly like a party! Individual participants and teams gather at The Brass Tap – Mills Park at noon to receive instructions and clues. Participants will go to various locations and solve puzzles and complete tasks before moving on to the next location. After finishing, everyone will gather at Ten 10 Brewing.
Rabbit or Jackalope Taxidermy Class
This class is designed for beginners to learn professional level techniques used in small mammal taxidermy. By focusing on the facial features, students will create a rabbit or jackalope shoulder mount that can be affixed to a plaque or hung as is. Students will learn proper skinning and fleshing procedures, how to split, turn and position facial features, including the ears, proper preservation techniques, grooming, and the traditional methods of sculpting and carving a bust to create a shoulder mount.

Bring your pretzel necklaces and come join the party while you enjoy unlimited samples of over 40 different types of craft beer. You will get to decide who takes home the People’s Choice trophy. Melrose in the Mix: Swamp Sistas Songwiters Circle
Join us for the first in a series of intimate in-studio recording performances as Orlando singer-songwriter Beth McKee brings her assembled Swamp Sistas Songwiters Circle to the Melrose Audio Studio for a special afternoon session. Beth will be joined by Hanna harber, Renee Arozqueta and Ka Malinalli, as the Circle takes turns performing original material and accompanying one another before a small studio audience – all while being recorded. Seating for this event is very limited.

Fascinating Fungi – Intro to Mushroom Identification with Jon Martin
Beginner’s level mushroom identification class and introduction to mycology (the study of mushrooms) with a focus on Florida mushrooms. This course will introduce students to concepts of field mycology and cover the uses and importance of mushrooms, descriptive terminology, basic taxonomy, methods of identification, proper collection and preservation techniques, major groups of mushrooms, common genera and species, edible and medicinal mushrooms, toxic and deadly mushrooms, reference resources, mushroom photography tips, and more.
