Enjoy a unique experience as Paint Out artist TBD showcases the art of TBD. A wine/beer bar will be available for happy hour specials beginning at 5:00 p.m. Take a stroll around the gardens and the wet-room gallery before the demo starts at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
6th Annual Florida Pole Fitness Championship

Ixchel Song Garden Opening at Culture Pop!
This month, we will be unveiling Earthtones: the Ixchel Song Garden at Maitland Art Center alongside Culture Pop! Architect as Artist. You can find our song garden directly past the museum on the right. We will have our garden tools that have been made into instruments and hooked up to amps, our structure will be open for your viewing, and we have created a line-up of readers and musicians for the evening.

Duet for Theremin and Lap Steel
The name of this Atlanta duo implies a proper classical recital, a rigid formality. But Scott Burland (theremin) and Frank Schultz (lap steel) don’t do scripted, improvising not so much distinct sounds as evolving eddies of sound, vapors of tones that develop and transform gracefully.

Memories of Vietnam: Stories from Central Florida
Presented by the Orange County Regional History Center and WUCF TV Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday, April 30, noon – 5 p.m. Central Floridians with memories of the Vietnam War, especially veterans of the war and Vietnamese Americans, are invited to share your history and become part of the History Center’s permanent collection.

Since the beginning of time, humans have illustrated their stories, feelings, and observations of the world through drawing and painting. In this workshop, students will explore a variety of techniques and mediums to create their own illustrative work of art. Preserving History in the Aftermath of the Pulse Tragedy
Orange County Regional History Center’s Chief Curator Pamela Schwartz and Collections Manager Whitney Broadaway share details about the One Orlando Collection Initiative, dedicated to collecting, preserving, cataloging and storing over 3,000 condolence memorial items in the aftermath of the Pulse Tragedy.
