SunPass is finally ready to reimburse their customers who suffered from unexpected overdraft fees following the recent 170 million transaction backlog hullabaloo that occurred following a disastrous system upgrade.

While a system was being upgraded by a third party, the toll system was failing to charge drivers and all of the tolls for an entire month were backlogged and then charged all at once, leading to unexpected overdraft fees.

FDOT is accepting requests for overdraft fee reimbursements HERE or in any SunPass Walk-in Center, and then sending the bill to Conduent, the group behind the flubbed system upgrade.

A petition that we shared on August 14 has since received over 31,000 signatures to have all fees reimbursed that were accrued during the system failure.
