We told you HERE in August 2021 about a new restaurant concept that was being planned for a former Mills 50 mattress shop storefront and we finally have gotten our hands on the renderings.
The Moderne is the latest project by Maki HIbachi’s Michael Nguyen and it’s on track to open early this fall if everything stays on track.
Local firm gdp Design Build (Instagram | Website), who have been responsible for Mills 50 design darlings like Tori Tori, multiple Bento Asian Kitchen locations, Lacastro, multiple Domu locations, Golden Hour Wine, KASA, Mamak, and Maki Hibachi.
The Moderne will be located at 1241 E. Colonial Drive [GMap]. A food program has not been made public at this time.
