Popular pop-up vendor Meng’s Kitchen (Facebook Website) will have a permanent home in Colonialtown in mid-June.

Meng’s Kitchen, operated by Chiang Mai-born Chef Asawin “AJ” Jockkeaw, specializes in Thai-style Hainanese chicken and rice and traditional Isaan dishes from north Thailand including dishes like roasted chicken, Thai coconut chicken soup, five-spice braised pork belly, a vegan curry cauliflower dish, and more.

According to a post on the Meng’s Kitchen Facebook page, HERE, the concept will be moving into a space in iFresh Market at 2415 E. Colonial Drive [GMap] and will include a small dining area as well as takeout service.

The last time we featured Meng’s Kitchen was HERE in February 2022 when they co-hosted a pop-up Thai dinner at Pom Pom’s Teahouse and Sandwicheria (Facebook Website) with Chef Jack Jone (Tawa Chavitranurak) of Sea Thai (Facebook | Website).
