Police are investigating a shooting that took place in downtown Orlando just before midnight on Sunday, September 18, when shots were fired after a fight broke out in the street.

Orlando Police officers were dispatched to the intersection of East Pine Street and North Court Avenue at 11:55 p.m. to respond to reports of gunfire where they found a woman who had been shot, just outside of Dank Smoke Shop, near where the controlled checkpoints usually begin, that were launched last month.

The male victim was found later inside Celine Nightclub and appeared to have been grazed by a bullet. Both victims were treated at Orlando Regional Medical center for non-life-threatening injuries.

A suspect has been taken into custody and it’s believed that he did not know the two people who were shot. No other details have been released.

The aftermath of the shooting was caught on a number of social media feeds, including a TikTok owned by Brian Diamond, @BryanTheDiamond, who has over 5 million followers.

  1. Compare the demographics of who goes Downtown now to who went downtown 10 years ago when these things RARELY, if ever, happened. Hint: It’s not the same crowd…

Lets get our head out the sand. More live venues playing good music and less clubs catering to drill/trap music.
