F&D Woodfired Kitchen opened in its new location at 2635 Curry Ford Road [GMap] in the Hourglass District in the Curry Ford West Main Street corridor on June 12.
The new restaurant serves a menu of Italian dishes and wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas and also serves a full bar of craft cocktails and wine at its outdoor patios.
The original location at 2420 Curry Ford Road [GMap] was forced to relocate when the property owner, National Real Estate, released plans to build a new mixed-use apartment project on the property. National Real Estate secured a former church property for F&D to open their new, larger restaurant in when they announced the new apartment concept in 2017.
F&D Restaurants owns F&D Cantina in Lake Mary and Thornton Park and F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen in Winter Park and Longwood. They’re also opening a new F&D Prime Modern Steakhouse concept in Lake Mary later this summer.
