We told you HERE in December 2020 that the popular acai-slinging food truck, Purple Ocean Super Food (Facebook | Website) had secured the lease on a former barbershop next to Track Shack at 1110 N. Mills Avenue [GMap].
Since that post, the operators, Josiah and Priscilla Candelaria, have been running their truck onsite while they carried out the conversion of the building from salon to restaurant space. A Covered patio was added to the front of the building fairly recently, but despite the slow process, it seems the Candelarias have decided to move their concept someplace nearby, as evidenced by a sign that was recently installed of the building – see above.
We reached out to Purple Ocean, and they shared the following with Bungalower.
” Thank you for reaching out! We were just too busy with little to no parking. We’ve decided to focus our efforts on our Hourglass location. We are working on acquiring a location with more parking in the Mills area.”
