We told you HERE in February 2022 about a new concept that was moving into the former Marlow’s Tavern space at 1008 Orlando Avenue [GMap] in Winter Park, but at the time we didn’t have much information to go on, other than leasing information filed with the property owner.

Since that time, it has been confirmed that the new concept is being led by Chelsie DiPaolo, the former owner/operator of Sanctum Cafe in the Mills 50 District which closed in June 2020 following allegations of sexual harassment against her former husband and business partner.

The new project is called One Life Daily Market (Instagram | Website) and is being described by DiPaolo and her team as a “chef-driven health food concept aimed at enhancing the overall wellness of the Winter Park community. The restaurant opening is being preceded by the launch of a new One Life Daily Market Salad Club subscription service which will deliver a rotating menu of single-serve seasonal salads and bowls on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.

“One of the most powerful ways we can optimize our health is by eating whole, good-for-you foods. As a single mom and restaurateur, I know we don’t always have the luxury of time to prepare meals from scratch or have access to restaurants that serve nutrient-rich foods,” said DiPaolo via a prepared press release. “Opening One Life is a way for me to share my passion with the Winter Park community and support them in living their life to the fullest.”

The restaurant is expected to open by the end of 2023 and it will also feature a market/retail section featuring sauces and prepared foods that you can take home. One Life will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sundays.

Check out a statement shared by DiPaolo in the video below.
