Orlando’s Baker Barrios Architects has just filed plans on behalf of Tampa’s Richland Capital for a new 14-story high-rise development on the edge of Ivanhoe Village and the North Quarter.

The Appearance Review Board will be giving a Courtesy Review of the plans for the new tower at an upcoming meeting on August 17. Plans call for a 14-story, 312-unit multi-family building with 6,239 SF of retail and a new six-story attached parking garage with access via North Orange Avenue.

Notes state that the development will be designed as a “… contemporary take on the refined industrial architectural style.”

The project is being planned for the former WDBO station site at 68 S. Ivanhoe Boulevard [GMap], next to the DoubleTree Hotel and just up the street from another planned 14-story tower at 1155 N. Orange Avenue [GMap].

The Municipal Planning Board will review the plans this September.
