Former Parramore-based LGBTQ restaurant turned gay bar, Stonewall Bar Orlando (Facebook Website) has finally been put up for sale after sitting vacant for almost two years.

The bar closed suddenly on New Year’s Eve, 2021, with little to no notice to patrons and staff. The bar has been sitting untouched while the owner, Steve Watkins, attempted to find new operators to run the space for him, as he had previously relocated to South Florida.

Watkins and the ownership team are now asking for $2.2 million for the 3,900 SF building, which features multiple stages, an outdoor courtyard, a full kitchen, and a merman tank on the second story.

The building is located at  741 W. Church Street [GMap] directly across the street from Exploria Stadium.

  1. was a fun place and has many memories after the PULSE Massacre..became THE PLACE to be!! Hopefully soon a resurrection and renewal to again become “The Place” (hey that would make a fine renaming)
